What role will you play?

Reporting to the Chief Architect, the Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical leadership and providing oversight on large programs to align them with architecture guidance that comes from the Architecture CoE. This will include tasks such as architecture review, stakeholder engagement, technical solution elaboration and more. The Senior Solution Architect will assist the Chief Architect in covering the demands of a very large landscape and will be responsible for covering the day-to-day demands of target architecture, compliance, and knowledge dissemination.

What you'll be responsible for? (Apart from Innovating)

  • Provide leadership in the logical and physical system design, and ensure design is consistent and well integrated with existing conceptual, logical, and physical architectures.
  • Collaborate with Architecture COE on the solution design to ensure it complies with enterprise architectural standards and roadmaps and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment on future roadmaps and IT Strategies
  • Facilitate and enable the integration of applications, services and business processes using common methodologies, standards and prescriptive architecture
  • Strong understanding designing and developing distributed hybrid architectures that span legacy data center solutions and cloud native capability
  • Provide architectural oversight on all Internal IT (investment) projects that enhance Innovapost IT practices and/or employee experiences
  • Provide career and professional guidance to the assigned team of two Solution Architects.
  • Develop an end-to-end solution architecture that accurately translates business requirements to technology and ensures the design will meet business requirements throughout the lifecycle of a change

What does it take for this role to be yours?

  • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing large scale architecture in a high-performance environment.
  • Well versed in TOGAF and solution design.
  • Well versed in IT Security, Software Patterns, Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership.
  • Ability to act as an organizational mentor.

Additional skills that set you apart:

  • Experience in logistics.
  • Experience in the Parcel or Post industries.

Education

  • Academic: undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent (required), Graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA)(Asset)
  • TOGAF Certification
