What role you will play?

Reporting to the ITDM Project Delivery Manager, the main responsibility of the Portfolio Integrator is to provide support to the Group Heads, IT Partners and Project Managers (“PM”) in achievement of Portfolio objectives.  The support includes facilitating strategic alignment of projects priorities and resourcing for the portfolio project needs.  The PI owns reporting and data tracking of the portfolio and projects, assisting with structuring and executing analysis, creating and presenting reports to enhance portfolio data quality and process consistency.

Responsibilities as a Portfolio Integrator Officer

  • Consult and collaborate with Business Solution Delivery IT Partners to plan, assess and assign capacity and resource needs that will support the management of the pipeline of opportunities
  • Work closely with other Portfolio Integrators to manage demand, resource and capacity including resolving resource conflicts, interdependencies between the Business Solution Delivery teams.
  • Support the BSD Lead in providing oversight for major projects in the business solution delivery team, giving updates on status, and intake, as well as understanding and identifying risks
  • Create holistic and integrated dashboards for the domain from different data sources to support executive decision-making, including but not limited to portfolio reporting, tracking of opportunities in the pipeline and capacity management reporting 

Other Responsibilities

  • Assess major resourcing risks for the business subdomains within the portfolio to support the Business Solution Delivery Lead in proactively managing business expectations; and escalating issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Together with the Business Solution Delivery Lead and Business Solution Delivery IT Partners, support the prioritization process for the sub-domains and keep an integrated view of IT priorities and requests up to date (portfolio & backlog management)
  • Support the prioritization and intake planning process for cross domain impacts across the various business solution delivery teams
  • Oversee and integrate the sub-domains scorecards and other reporting as needed focusing on quality, KPIs and project or initiative status


  • Project Management: minimum 5 years experience in contributing to the success of a range of mid-to-large size agile initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
  • Analytical skills: experienced in reporting creation and KPIs, resource and capacity planning, and portfolio dependencies from an administrative perspective
  • Office Tools:  minimum 2 years experience in Microsoft off tools (outlook, word, powerpoint, and especially excel using formulas).  Experience in Visio and Microsoft project is an asset.
  • Presentation skills:  experience presenting simple progress and financial reports to more senior levels of management to illustrate how project and operational work is proceeding relative to time and budgets.


  • Value Management: can identify the effectiveness and completeness of business and technology strategies and ensure alignment with clients and other applicable cross-organization strategies
  • Benefit Management: can understand the identification of benefits within a portfolio and the importance of understanding how those benefits can be achieved.
  • Quantitative analysis: quantitative/statistical process modelling and simulation techniques and tools to improve quality, client experience, lower costs and cycle time.
  • Financial Management: strong understanding of key concepts of financial processes such as budgeting, financial modeling, etc.

Mandatory Skills

  • Facilitate and encourage collaboration among different organization areas
  • Ability to navigate through uncertainty and lead change within the organization
  • Ability to respond to business reporting needs on a timely and accurate basis
  • Ability to take ownership of work and show responsibility for completion.
  • Critical thinking to review work completed and validate that it is reasonable given the objectives of the exercise and normal functions of the organization.

  • Academic : Post-secondary degree or higher in Business, Technology or related field (required)
  • Certifications : MoP (Asset) PMP (Asset), ITIL foundations (Asset), Agile (Asset)
