What role will you play?

The Head of Organizational Change Management and Corporate Communications actively contributes to the company evolution through the development and implementation of efficient and relevant organizational change management practices and corporate communications.

The Head of Organizational Change Management and Corporate Communications leads the design and execution of major change management strategies and plans across the organization, projects and initiatives and acts as an ambassador of organizational change management. They advocate for a structured approach and best practice methodologies to design and execute change tactics and evaluate their success.

The Head of Organizational Change Management and Corporate Communications provides oversight to the Communications team and maintains a global and transverse view and understanding of overall changes and transformations within the company, and actively contribute to strategic / special projects

What will you be responsible for? (apart from Innovating)

  • •    Provide management oversight and leadership to a seasoned team of Change Management professionals by ensuring Organizational Change includes:
    o    Application of change management principles and communication techniques to help the company and its business partners achieve their business goals
    o    Consistent application of structured change management approach to change and communication activities
    o    Ensuring a harmonization across the organization, ensure an alignment with the leading practices and Innovapost standards, and oversee its evolution
    o    Defining principles and standards to harmonize change management methodologies from third party or external service providers
    o    Providing strategic change management advice, support and coaching to executives and senior leaders within the organization
    o    Ensuring availability of required change management practitioners in house or managing the channels to provide external resources to projects
    o    Managing change management priorities within the organization.
    o    Supporting development of Operating Models to align with evolution
    o    Supporting organizational transformation and transformational change

  • •    Provide management oversight and leadership to a seasoned team of Communications Specialists by ensuring Corporate Communications include:
    o    Supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational communication strategies, plans and activities across the organization
    o    Engaging key stakeholders and/or project sponsor(s) to gain buy-in for communication strategies and plans
    o    Ensuring a harmonization in executive-level messaging and information important to employees
    o    Ensuring the ongoing improvement of communication methodologies, standards and tools
    o    Defining processes to measure and maximize the effectiveness of our communications channels

What Skills you need for this role to be yours

  • 10+ years of experience in organizational change and transformational change management practices or related field
  • Experience in being a people leader
  • Experience building and leading a high performing team
  • Communications experience
  • Understanding of program/project management life cycle in an IT organization
  • Strong track record in positioning the value of strong organizational change management to various audiences to achieve tangible outcomes
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinker with good creative, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to effectively influence a diverse team of stakeholders
  • Superior written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate through uncertainty and lead change within the organization
  • Experience in working in a cloud-based IT organization and delivering transformational change within an IT environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience working as a management consultant
  • Experience working in a matrix model and advising/influencing leaders on how to approach change
  • Experience in facilitating small to large groups on various topics to gain buy-in and alignment


  • Academic: Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (Required)
  • Certifications: Communication Management Professional (Asset), Change Management training / certifications, Prosci (Asset), Agile foundations (Asset)
